AFFILIATE PROGRAMME TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Welcome to the Samuel Obayemi Bookhub Affiliate Programme.

Our Affiliate Programme allows approved affiliates to earn commissions by promoting our ebooks through their unique affiliate links.

By registering for or participating in the Affiliate Programme, you agree to comply with these Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions.

1. Eligibility

To participate in the Affiliate Programme, you must:

  1. Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  2. Be legally permitted to participate in an affiliate marketing programme.
  3. Maintain only one affiliate account unless we give you permission to create another.
  4. Use the programme honestly and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to approve or reject any affiliate application at our discretion.

2. Affiliate Approval

Registration does not automatically guarantee acceptance into the Affiliate Programme.

All applications may be reviewed before approval.

Samuel Obayemi Bookhub may reject an application if we believe the applicant’s promotional methods, website, social media activities or other activities may damage our reputation or violate these Terms.

3. Affiliate Links

After approval, you will receive access to your unique affiliate links.

You must use your assigned affiliate links when promoting our ebooks.

You must not alter, manipulate or disguise your affiliate links in a way that prevents proper tracking.

You are responsible for ensuring that your affiliate links are used correctly.

4. Commission

The standard affiliate commission is currently 30% of the eligible ebook sale amount.

Samuel Obayemi Bookhub reserves the right to change the commission rate in the future. Any changes will apply to future eligible sales and will not normally affect commissions that have already been approved.

Commissions are earned only from qualifying purchases successfully attributed to your affiliate account.

5. Eligible Sales

A commission may be recorded when:

  1. A customer accesses our website through your valid affiliate link.
  2. The customer’s purchase is correctly attributed to your affiliate account.
  3. The order is successfully completed.
  4. The transaction is not cancelled, refunded, fraudulent or otherwise invalid.

Purchases that are refunded, cancelled, disputed or identified as fraudulent will not qualify for commission.

6. Self Referrals

Affiliates must not use their own affiliate links to purchase products for themselves in order to generate commissions.

You must also not encourage customers to make artificial or fraudulent purchases for the purpose of generating commissions.

Self referrals may result in cancellation of the commission and suspension or termination of your affiliate account.

7. Refunds and Commission Holding Period

Commissions are subject to a 7 day refund period.

This period allows Samuel Obayemi Bookhub to identify refunds, cancellations and other issues before commissions become payable.

If a transaction is refunded or cancelled during or after this period, the related commission may be removed or reversed.

8. Minimum Payout

The minimum payout threshold is currently ₦5,000.

An affiliate must have at least ₦10,000 in eligible and payable commissions before a payout is processed.

Amounts below the minimum threshold will remain in the affiliate’s account until the minimum payout requirement is reached.

9. Affiliate Payments

Affiliate commissions will be paid manually by Samuel Obayemi Bookhub or an authorised administrator.

Affiliates are responsible for providing accurate payment information when requested.

We are not responsible for payment delays caused by incorrect or incomplete payment information supplied by an affiliate.

Where applicable, bank transfer may be used for payments to Nigerian affiliates.

10. Promotion Rules

Affiliates may promote our ebooks through legitimate channels including websites, blogs, social media, email marketing, YouTube, WhatsApp and other lawful platforms.

Affiliates must promote our products honestly and responsibly.

You must not make false, misleading, exaggerated or unsubstantiated claims about our ebooks, authors, products or services.

You must not falsely represent yourself as an employee, owner, representative or official agent of Samuel Obayemi Bookhub.

11. Spam and Unauthorised Advertising

Affiliates must not use spam, unsolicited bulk messages, deceptive advertising or other abusive marketing practices.

You must not send unsolicited promotional messages to people who have not agreed to receive them.

You must comply with applicable laws and the rules of the platforms you use for promotion.

12. Brand and Content Usage

Affiliates may use approved ebook covers, descriptions, promotional materials and other materials supplied by Samuel Obayemi Bookhub for the purpose of promoting our products.

You must not modify our logos, ebook covers or promotional materials in a misleading manner.

You must not claim ownership of our intellectual property.

All copyrights, trademarks, ebook content, images and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.

13. Discount Claims

Affiliates must not advertise discounts, promotions or special offers that Samuel Obayemi Bookhub has not officially authorised.

You must not create misleading claims about ebook prices or available promotions.

14. Fraud and Abuse

We take affiliate fraud seriously.

Activities such as artificial clicks, fake orders, stolen payment information, fraudulent transactions, cookie manipulation, self referrals, misleading promotions or attempts to manipulate affiliate tracking may result in immediate suspension or termination.

Any unpaid commissions associated with fraudulent or invalid activity may be cancelled.

15. Account Suspension and Termination

Samuel Obayemi Bookhub reserves the right to suspend or terminate an affiliate account if we believe the affiliate has:

  1. Violated these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Engaged in fraudulent activity.
  3. Used misleading or deceptive marketing.
  4. Damaged or attempted to damage our reputation.
  5. Violated applicable laws or platform policies.
  6. Misused affiliate links or promotional materials.

Upon termination, future commissions may be cancelled where they resulted from prohibited activity.

16. Affiliate Responsibility

Affiliates are responsible for their own promotional activities.

You are responsible for ensuring that your advertising, social media posts, messages, websites and other promotional activities comply with applicable laws and platform policies.

17. No Guarantee of Earnings

Participation in the Affiliate Programme does not guarantee any income.

Your earnings depend on your promotional efforts, audience, traffic, customer interest and successful purchases.

Samuel Obayemi Bookhub does not guarantee that an affiliate will earn a particular amount.

18. Changes to the Programme

Samuel Obayemi Bookhub reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Affiliate Programme or any part of it.

We may also change commission rates, payout requirements, promotional rules or other programme conditions.

Where appropriate, significant changes will be communicated to active affiliates.

19. Limitation of Liability

We will make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate affiliate tracking and commission records.

However, Samuel Obayemi Bookhub is not responsible for commissions that cannot be recorded because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, including technical failures, incorrect affiliate links, browser restrictions, network problems or other tracking limitations.

20. Acceptance of These Terms

By registering for and participating in the Samuel Obayemi Bookhub Affiliate Programme, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Affiliate Programme Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not register or participate in the Affiliate Programme.
